CANDLE LIGHTING: ENERGY SHIFTING

candle magicCandle lighting has been around for centuries and used for romance, entertaining and decor among many other uses.

Candle lighting for energy shifting is also an effective way of using candles to change the vibrations in a room or home.  Often we need a little push from the universe, a little shift in energy and candles are a great way to accomplish this.

You do not need a big ritual, just a candle and some good thoughts.  Think how candle lighting can set a romantic mood!

We live in a sea of living energy that is in constant motion. The candle is our “potential” energy source. Our spirit is our psychic source. When we combine the energy potential with the psychic energy of our spirit, we create a force that will influence the universe around us.

Remember you have a great responsibility to yourself and to others to use your knowledge in a constructive and healing way. Don’t try to bend the will of others and remember Karma. Keep your intent clear.

Candle magic or candle lighting will not solve your problems overnight but it is a powerful tool. It can also help you to realize that events can be altered and influenced by will. We are not helpless bystanders.

Later, I will discuss a bit about the flame but for now, Keep it simple.   A candle, a thought, a clear intent is all that is needed to start your candle  lighting for energy shifting.

Please do not use broken or dirty candles for the candles to shift energy.  The candle should be for purpose and again the intention clear.

(sometime, it is good to get a reading first, to make sure you know the truth of the matter)

Below is a simple candle lighting for energy shifting “spell”:

You will need

1 yellow candle

1 lemon

Simply light the yellow candle with a twist of citrus rind and voila!  an uplifted mood!  Positive energy in the room.  /can be done anytime.

It is recommended you use the 7 day glass jar candles and let them burn.  I place mine on a pie time or a saucer with a bit of water in case the jar cracks.  If you must put out the candle===snuff it, do not blow and relit as soon as possible.

Enjoy!!!

Healing self

Most of us have been hurt along the way.  Especially when it comes to relationships, be it soulmates, love relationships, or even friendships.

The key is in the healing self.  Learning to trust again.  Mainly healing ourselves to trust ourselves, to believe in our own intuition, to follow our “gut” feeling.

Healing self calls for some realistic viewing of the situation, especially relationships and accepting our part “if only”  and “yeah but” and take a look at the realistic way the relationship really was all along, and you will see many times we are in “wish” mode.  And waiting for the person to change.

We can only change ourselves and this will change the energies around you.

We cannot look for a person , place or thing to make us happy.  It is an inside job.

Healing self–treat yourself as you would want others to treat you, love yourself, be good to you let go of the past-it is after all-PAST!  Turn you eyes forward and allow your heart to open to healing self.

The pain in our lives does not define us, it makes us learn, grow and become stronger!!

What an awesome individual you are!!

MAGIC COLOR OF THE DAY

rainbow

Every day of the week, is a magical day. Each of the seven days of the week has its own magical color and energies of the day as well as flowers, planets and purpose.  Each day has it’s own vibrations as does a color, which allow them to work together well.

Magic does not have to be complicated to be effective. The most powerful works of magic are those that are simple, practical, and come from the heart.  Changing energy with color can be as simple as changing  your shirt to the magical color of the day or lighting a candle of a certain color to set off the magical color of the day.Learning to combine these various related items together and to begin to focus on daily activities, you’ll understand that by working with these accessories in a new way, you are allowing yourself more creative ways to personalize your Witchcraft or energy shifting.

According to practitioners of color therapy, the link between colors, moods and our emotions runs deep.  They believe that not only do colors affect our emotions but they can heal as well.

So let’s begin by looking at a  simplified outline of the magical color of the day.

Sunday, our first day of the week.

Sunday:

Sunday corresponds to the sun, our closest star. This day is full of wonder and all sorts of potential for success, wealth, and fame. Sundays are for personal achievements of any kind such as working towards a promotion at your job, seeking fame and wealth.

The magical color of day are Orange and gold, pink for love

Adventure, change, love

Sitting outside at sunrise, wearing orange clothing, pink jewels, arrange Sunflowers in a vase, scatter marigold petals to encourage prosperity

Monday:

This magical day of the week is dedicated to the moon and all of her magic and mystery. Mondays are for illusion, prophetic dreaming, emotions, travel, and fertility.

The magical color of the day is white.

Purity, wholesomeness, feminine,

Getting outside and looking for the moon in the heavens. Sit under her light and absorb a little glamour.   Call down the moon.
Empower your silver jewelry by setting it out under the light of the moon. Wear moonstone or pearl jewelry. Be mysterious and subtle and wear moon-associated colors such as white, silver, and blue the flowers that are associated with the moon,

White roses and gardenias are flowers of the moon.  Think of the femme fatale.

Tuesday: Tuesday is a
Mars day, and just like the god of war, this is the time to tap into energy to call for strength and courage.  Also a sex day.  Some suggestions for Tuesday enchantments would include:

Wearing the fiery colors associated with this day: . Don some of the more daring and bewitching colors of reds and corals on Tuesdays and turn a few heads

Set out a bouquet of protective snapdragons.

Mercury day, and is full of contradictions, change, and excitement. It is also a day of wealth and prosperity.

Using the charming scent of lily of the valley to improve your memory, or working with the aspen tree for communication.

Wearing Green to draw money, growth prosperity with a bit of brown to stabilize.  Light a green candle on a new moon for money.

Thursday: Thursday is a day for enlightenment, thanks for abundance. Creativity.  Some suggestions for Thursdays energy would be yellow and violet (for creativity)

Carrying a turquoise tumbled stone in your pocket to draw a little protective and healing energy your way.

Yellow tulips to brighten, violets to instill creativity.

Friday: Friday belongs to Venus, both the planet and its namesake Roman goddess of love. This day is sacred to many other gods and goddesses of love such as Eros, Venus, Aphrodite, and the Norse goddess that gave the day it’s name, Freya (also a great lingerie). This day is for love beauty, music and the arts.

Magical colors of the day are off white for things sacred, Indigo for mystery and artistic talent, blues for tranquility.

A blue candle brings calmness, pink roses for inner beauty
Carrying a rose quartz with you today to send out some gentle and loving vibes to those crabby co-worker

Saturday: This day of the week got it’s name from
Saturn. This day is obviously associated with the planet Saturn and is our last day of the week. Traditionally Saturdays are great days for protection, eliminating a negative situation, and generally a good time to clean up any magical messes that you have been ignoring and those messes at home interfering with clear thinking.

Wear the magical color of the day, black and deep purple. Here is your perfect excuse to be dramatic and witchy.

Burning black candles to absorb negativity and burning purple ones to increase your magical wisdom and boost your spirituality

Cleaning your house and cleansing it while you are at it. Think of hitting the delete button.

Every day is a magical day. Just how enchanting of a day it turns out to be is completely up to you

RELATIONSHIPS: Sustaining and Maintaining

It was recently said by someone– because of being so busy, they  did not have the energy to sustain the relationship.

The question posed was–Did they “want” to continue to see the person.  It was about the desire not the ability.
After a great deal of thought on the word, sustain – it seemed to me, the word should have been maintain as she was inquiring about  the desire not the ability.  This led me to the dictionary where I looked up the word “sustain” and then “maintain” and found it rather interesting.
According to the dictionary to Sustain is to–.
strengthen or support physically or mentally.
synonyms: comforthelpassistencouragesuccorsupport, give strength to,buoy up, carry, cheer up, hearten
for example-you sustain a charity through your donations that may fail otherwise–
Whereas to Maintain is to–1.
to cause or enable (a condition or state of affairs) to continue.
synonyms: preserveconservekeepretain, keep going, keep alive, keep up,prolongperpetuate
for example-you oil your wood furniture to maintain it
It also made me start to think about sustaining and maintaining a relationship when it is under stress or is at a stale mate because of various factors.   Or when it seems , there just isn’t time or energy.
Many times we find we have no interest or thought  for something at the moment, but it does not dampen our desire to continue it or to return to it.  We just do not have the energy to give to it at the moment  Perhaps it is taking care of children, parents or just good old work  overload.
This is especially true in relationships.  One partner becomes so involved in work for example that he cannot give to the relationship and the other partner feels as if things are ending,  That they are being shut out.
This is where it is important to know the difference between sustaining and maintaining  something we want to keep in our lives. We were not asking did you want the relationship to end, we were asking about did you desire to have it continue.
And with a little communication ie maintenance, many relationships can make it through the hard times.
Simple words go along way in letting a partner know this is a temporary situation.  That they just can’t focus at the moment but want it to be there in the future.
First let them know-when it is back to normal, you will spend some time together.   Let them know, you want to maintain this but for right now you have no energy to sustain it but that it is temporary.   Tell them , I miss you/us.  And above all let them know you want them in your life and that you want it to continue and you appreciate their patience.
A few words here and there can Maintain a person for along time until you can put forth the energy again.
With a bit of thought, a strong relationship will not collapse from a lack of sustaining as long as you remember to do the maintaining until you can get to it again.
Love isn’t when  there is no stress nor problems in the relationship
Love is when the stress ends
Love is still there.
